T Visa (Victims of Human Trafficking)
The T visa offers protection for individuals who are victims of human trafficking and are currently in the United States as a result of such exploitation. To qualify, applicants must prove they were subjected to severe trafficking (either labor exploitation or sex trafficking), are physically present in the U.S. due to this trafficking, and are willing to cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of traffickers (with some exceptions).
The T visa provides protection from deportation, work authorization, and the opportunity to apply for a green card after three years. The process can be emotionally difficult for victims, and our team handles each case with the utmost sensitivity, care, and confidentiality.
